Decentralized apps are one of the most exciting applications for blockchain technology. In this episode of the Unstoppable Podcast, we sit down with Robert Hoogendoorn, head of content at DappRadar, to talk about dApps.

We learn about how Robert discovered blockchain and crypto -- as a way to access money in foreign accounts when living abroad without punishing ATM fees -- and how it quickly became a subject of passion for him.

We talk about dApps (software written on top of the blockchain) and their many use cases, from everyday things like trading digital items to bigger concepts like freer sharing of information and democratizing of the online world.

Decentralized gaming is an extremely promising use case for blockchain, and Robert talks about how it’s been evolving and how there is still an unfortunate lack of information and resources about it online.

Robert finishes by talking about DappRadar -- a site that ranks dApps and where users can learn about them. He mentions some of the exciting new features on the way, like a portfolio tracker and NFT evaluation tool, and what users can expect from these.

You can follow Robert on LinkedIn, Medium, and Twitter, and learn more about DappRadar on their website.
