We discuss whether developers have a responsibility to bake privacy into protocols, and the importance of zero-knowledge proofs for building private decentralized networks.

Jay also covers her work with Twitter’s Blue Sky Project. We talk about the problems with social media platforms today, if social media will decentralize, and what that might look like.
