We cover topics like the definition of money, and what it is used for. Matthew talks about how gold was the original currency, and why and when the US switched from gold to fiat currency (the US dollar). We discuss the pros and cons of gold and fiat money.

Matthew also explains some of the problems with fiat money, like how labor productivity has increased at a far greater rate than wages over the last few decades. We discuss inflation, why it happens, and if it will ever stop.

Finally, Matthew talks about how crypto can solve many of the problems with fiat money, how it fits into the issue of productivity and wages, and what the future holds.
